Story
This first series Jaguar E-Type was built on March 1965 and delivered the same month, 1965 by the American Jaguar distributor in New York.
As originally produced, this roadster was in Dark Blue, the interior is light blue, Blue roof.
In addition, it is matching numbers, engine and body.
‘The most beautiful car ever built’ - Enzo Ferrari, 1961
The 1965 Jaguar E-Type OTS (Open Two-Seater) 4.2 is one of the most iconic models in automotive history, combining British elegance, sporting performance and advanced engineering for its time.
The Jaguar E-Type (or XK-E for the North American market) was launched in 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show.
It immediately fascinated the motoring world with its revolutionary design by Malcolm Sayer, a former aeronautical engineer.
In 1965, Jaguar introduced an improved version with a more powerful engine: the 4.2-litre, still available as an OTS (roadster) or FHC (Fixed Head Coupé).
The 1965 4.2 combined the pure styling of the first series with improved performance and reliability.
It symbolised the golden age of British motoring, with exceptional value for money for its time.
Any more pictures, under the car, video calling, do not hesitate.
