What a wonderful sight it is, this L494 Range Rover Sport, finished entirely in black. A Range Rover with a modern, original presence, a transparent history and a fully verifiable service record.
And that service record is exactly what matters. Even though the maintenance was fully up to date, we immediately commissioned a major service after purchase at our trusted independent Land Rover specialist. Both the interior and exterior were professionally detailed as well. The result: a beautifully driving Sport, with an even more beautiful appearance.
This particular example is a facelift model from 2018, which gives you, for instance, the updated multimedia system with a larger, tilting screen. Apple CarPlay is also standard, to name just one feature. Above HSE trim, it is exceptionally well equipped; seat cooling and heating, LED Matrix headlights with automatic high beam, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot monitoring, 21-inch original alloys, electrically deployable tow bar, Charcoal alcantara headlining, head-up display… the list goes on.
The Range Rover Sport is a remarkably versatile car; ideal for our own use. Just that bit smaller than the Range Rover Vogue, and therefore easier to handle. Ample interior space, plenty of luxury. Luggage, a family, a pet — there is room for everything. Long distances, fast motorway travel or a busy city centre full of speed bumps and obstacles — with a Range Rover you are at ease everywhere. Add the electrically folding tow bar, and you realise this is the ultimate all-round car.
The beautiful leather alone, perforated in the pattern of the Union Jack, combined with the aluminium elements, is a delight to the eye. The large panoramic roof, opening automatically, floods the cabin with light and makes the Range Rover feel even more spacious. Laminated glass keeps wind noise to a minimum. Electrically adjustable seats with memory complete the picture.

The automatic gearbox, with no fewer than eight ratios, shifts flawlessly and with impressive speed. The large touchscreen is wonderfully intuitive, and pairing your phone for calls or music streaming happens almost effortlessly. A true highlight is the Meridian sound system; 1700 watts, 22 speakers and a subwoofer create a rich musical experience, quite unlike the standard system.
When reversing, the screen shows you exactly what is happening behind the car. The tailgate opens with a simple movement of your foot. Front and rear parking sensors are, of course, present.
The Sport feels eager and responsive. No surprise, considering it is powered by the strong 3.0 SDV6 with an impressive 306 bhp. You might expect a substantial fuel consumption figure, but over the past 10,000 kilometres the onboard computer reports an average of 8.8 litres per 100 km — a very respectable 1:11.3.
The condition of this Range Rover is exceptionally good. No odd noises, no unusual vibrations. Naturally, there are no warning lights or faults. Is there truly nothing to remark upon, you may ask? Two of the four alloy wheels show some minor kerb marks. Beyond that, I can find nothing to criticise on this Sport. Understandable, considering the comprehensive service carried out in mid-November 2025, which came to €1,750 including VAT — nothing has been skimped on.
The previous service was in May 2025, and before that in November 2024. In that year both the diesel particulate filter and the catalytic converter were renewed. That is exactly how I like to see it — and the next owner will undoubtedly appreciate it as well.
Two remote keys, both in as-new condition, are present with the car.
