This Toyota Celica ST185 “Carlos Sainz Edition” is a carefully built Group N 4×4 rally car with an impressive history and top-tier equipment.

THE CARLOS SAINZ EDITION (1992):The Toyota Celica ST185 Carlos Sainz Edition (also known as the GT-Four RC in Japan and the GT-Four Rallye in Europe) is a special version of the Toyota Celica GT-Four, released to celebrate the WRC success of rally legend Carlos Sainz.
KEY FEATURES OF THE CARLOS SAINZ EDITION (1992):
  • Production Number: Limited edition of 5,000 units worldwide.

  • Engine: 2.0-liter 3S-GTE turbo engine producing 258 hp.

  • Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with an upgraded viscous coupling center differential.

  • Transmission: 5-speed manual gearbox.

  • Unique Features:
Water-to-air intercooler instead of an air-to-air intercooler.

  • Lightweight composite hood with a functional air scoop.

  • Improved aerodynamics with a redesigned front bumper.

  • Carlos Sainz badge with a unique serial number.

0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in approximately 6.3 seconds.

  • Top speed of around 230 km/h (143 mph).

BACKGROUND AND LEGACY:This special edition was produced to homologate Toyota’s rally car for the World Rally Championship (WRC). Carlos Sainz won the WRC Championship in 1992 with the ST185, making this model a collector’s item.
