Description
Baur was een bekende Duitse carrosseriebouwer die gespecialiseerd was in het aanpassen en aanpassen van bestaande automodellen. Het bedrijf, voluit 'Baur Fahrzeugbau GmbH,' was gevestigd in Stuttgart, Duitsland, en opereerde al sinds het begin van de 20e eeuw. Baur stond bekend om zijn samenwerking met verschillende autofabrikanten om speciale carrosserievarianten te produceren. Enkele van de bekendste projecten van Baur waren de targa-dakversies van verschillende BMW-modellen, waaronder de BMW E21 3-Serie Baur TC (Top Cabriolet) en BMW E30 3-Serie Baur TC2 (Top Cabriolet 2). Deze auto's hadden een uniek targa-dakontwerp met de mogelijkheid om het dak in twee delen te verwijderen, wat resulteerde in een open rijervaring zonder het volledig verwijderen van het dak. De hier aangeboden Baur bevindt zich in een rijdende conditie. Hij is voorzien van Nederlandse Exportdocumenten. Op een paar kleine imperfecties na zien het interieur en exterieur er over het algemeen netjes uit. De auto is van origine nieuw geleverd in Nederland.
