HISTORY
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe is a landmark model in the modern AMG portfolio and became an instant collectible upon its introduction in 2010. Developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG, the SLS marked AMG’s first fully independent model and drew global acclaim for its stunning design, performance, and homage to the legendary 300SL “Gullwing.”

With its long-hood, short-deck proportions, and iconic gullwing doors, the SLS AMG evokes the heritage of Mercedes-Benz whilst steering clear of being a pastiche of classic design. At its heart is the hand-built 6.2-liter M159 V8—a naturally aspirated masterpiece delivering thunderous power and sound, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. In an age of increasing hybrid and turbo charging technologies in sports cars the naturally aspirated V8 delivering circa 570 hp is a true delight.

OUR SLS AMG
This example was delivered new to Portugal and first registered in January 2011, finished in Obsidian Black over Black Leather interior. Desirable options fitted include optional AMG 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, and carbon ceramic brakes indicated by the bronze brake callipers. The current owner acquired the car in Lisbon to form part of his collection of classic and collectible cars. He has maintained the car carefully throughout his ownership including a recent main dealer service in January 2025.

The car retains its original Portuguese language owner’s manuals and second key set. An independent CARFAX report confirms that no accident damage is recorded in the car’s history.
