Esta unidad de Porsche 928 S3 se considera una rareza pues no hay muchas unidades como esta en caja manual, pues fue la transición de modelo S3 a S4, GT y tanto en la mecánica como en extras van un poco mezclados.
Este coche concretamente, fue adquirido por un buen amigo del actual propietario que ejercía de Doctor Cirujano en un Hospital de Dayton (Ohio) – EE.UU. El cual fue utilizado como utilitario durante mucho tiempo, se compró en el concesionario oficial Porsche en Dayton, Ohio en Enero de 1985 hasta su importación a España en 2008. Se le hicieron todas las revisiones y reparaciones en el mismo concesionario Porsche oficial donde se compró.
En el año 2013, el actual propietario le compró a su amigo esta unidad y lo tiene actualmente. Coche que ha estado siempre en buenas manos y bien mantenido. 38 años y sólo dos propietarios.
