Description
Volkswagen Beetle OVAL sold new in Barcelona in December 1954 and fully restored.
Color unit “Iceland Green” (Code L213), only available for models manufactured between January 1954 and July 1955.
Only three owners since new. The first from 1954 to 1985, the second until 2016 and the third, is the one who has restored it, a specialist in the restoration of Porsche 911 Pre-73, who made this car for him without sparing any expense. The paint job is Premium.
According to the chassis number (1-0718785) it is a 1954 model made in August. Its engine (number 1-0869760) also matches the year and month of the engine, so it could almost certainly be said to be a Matching Numbers unit. We are talking about a 1100 (1,131cc) 4-cylinder boxer engine with SOLEX 28pci carburettors and a 4-speed gearbox.
