Story:
Under the hood, the 147 GTA features a 3.2-liter V6 engine that produces 250 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and is capable of propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 6.3 seconds. The top speed of the car is 153 mph. Due to the modifications on this specific GTA, the power output will be closer to 280-290 BHP.
The 147 GTA is also fitted with a number of performance-enhancing features, including larger brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, and a limited-slip differential. These features work together to provide excellent handling and grip, allowing the car to be driven with confidence even at high speeds.
Engine:
The 3,2l Busso V6 engine runs perfectly and has always been serviced spot on, including a change of timing belt, clutch and a beefer Qualife Limited Slip differential
Which is needed to put down the extra power due to the engine upgrades such as an big flow ACT Carbon plenum intake manifold (with 78mm Porsche butterfly) and Equal length ceramic coated downpipes which gives the engine more freedom the breath and this translate into a higher engine output, but mainly better response and more torque. We shouldn’t forget the fantastic inlet noise it produces, plus less heat in the engine bay which could cause -with the original exhaust manifolds- an overheated ECU. The additional power hike is easy controlled by the upgraded 330mm Brembo brakes
The car feels genuinely nice and firm on the road. There is an extra sway bar fitted in the engine bay to improve the torsional stiffness. All original components are with the car. Otherwise, the car is strictly original. The gearbox and brakes are also incredibly good. That engine is what makes this car! It is beautiful to look at and even more beautiful to get out and drive.
History: The long time owner of this GTA did a good research before he bought this Alfa Romeo, cause at that time, he wanted to have one of the best cars on the market with mileage and service history, while his intentions where to keep the car for a long period and care for it as its previous owners did as well. For sure he did. All invoices of maintenance and updates are available, fully stamped service book. It has never been used during winter and is 100% rust free. Hardly ever saw rain, only hand washed. This car has been pampered and taken care of properly.
Exterior: The Alfa Romeo 147 GTA for sale here has the classic GTA colour, Alfa Rosso in combination with black leather interior. It looks still today just stunning! A few small stone chips in the front, but in line with its age and mileage. The 17” spoke wheels truly complete the picture of this beefy GTA. The wheels don’t look to small, no need for 18’’ also while it doesn’t improve the ride an handling
Interior: The big surprise with the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA is when you open the door and sit inside. It truly feels like you have entered a very luxurious car with a full high quality leather interior like only the Italians can make it. The bright red light from those bucket shaped instrument clusters kind of reminds me of our Alfa SZ, and I love it. The interior of the Alfa is close to flawless both up front and in the back. All equipment works as it should. The original sound system has updaed premium speakers and sounds amazing, even though the best music comes from the back of the car!
