This is a prototype designed to showcase the production version of the German tuner Carlsson's C5 at European auto shows.

The other example, shown at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show, was sold by Aguttes auction company in 2022.
The prototype's appeal is primarily visual, as its unique interior is entirely finished in gray and brown Alcantara, from the carpeting to the headliner and even the trunk. Virtually no interior parts are shared with a standard C5.

In addition to the Carlsson body kit and minor engine modifications, it also features a unique blue Carlsson engine cover, specific to the only two prototypes.

Unlike its sister car, the only other known example, this one was used by a high-ranking Citroën executive in Germany before being sold to a Polish enthusiast. It has just under 191,000 km and runs very well, having been recently serviced. Technical inspection is valid. The suspension, automatic transmission, and various other equipment are in excellent working order.

The interior and exterior show some signs of age and mileage (see photos), but nothing serious.

Polish registration documents are in order. It can be registered in France or Europe like any other European car; Certificate of Conformity (COC) is possible like a standard Citroen C5. Technical inspection is valid
