La 996 GT3 Mark I è stata la prima GT3 della storia, prodotta per poter partecipare alle competizioni nella categoria FIA GT3, la prima serie, oltre ad essere ovviamente la prima è di rilevante importanza per il contenuto tecnico degno di nota tra cui:

Motore Mezger a carter secco di derivazione GT1 e 962 con basamento 964/993, ed ultima Porsche assemblata a mano nel reparto Motorsport Weissach.

La prima GT3 è e sarà nel tempo un oggetto di culto oltre che per le caratteristiche sopra elencate anche per la rarità dovuta ad una limitata produzione in soli 1.858 unità.

The 996 GT3 Mark I is the first GT3 ever built, it was developed to race on the competitions GT3 FIA category, the first series more than to be the first it is really important for Porsche factory because it has a relevant technologic features:

Mezger engine dry sump with GT1 and 962 origin with crankcase 964/993, and last Porsche hand made from the Motorsport factory at Weissach.

The first GT3 is and will be an icon for the details over described as well but also for the production numbers of only 1.858 units.

The object in question is really excellent conditions and genuine for quality, maintenance and great history.
