1976 Porsche 914 2L Préparée GT

Véritable sportive, la Porsche 914 sera proposée avec le six cylindres à plat de la 911 T et elle fera dès 1970 l'objet d'une homologation internationale en catégorie Grand Tourisme Spéciale. Douze autos furent montées par l'usine sur la base de 914/6, toutes équipées avec des élargisseurs d'ailes et d'un moteur qui développait entre 160 et 220 ch selon qu'elles se destinaient au rallye ou au circuit.

Le modèle que nous présentons, basé sur la 914 équipé de son moteur 4 cylindres d'origine, reprend ces spécifications avec la carrosserie élargie des 914/6 GT, de larges jantes Fuchs " replica ", des liaisons au sol et un embrayage renforcés et une boîte sport à cinq vitesses. Le moteur entièrement refait fin 2015 a également fait l'objet d'une préparation sérieuse avec culasses à grosses soupapes, arbre à cames compétition, deux carburateurs Weber 48 qui permettent au moteur de quatre cylindres de délivrer environ 170 chevaux.

De Porsche 914, een echte sportwagen, werd aangeboden met de platte zescilindermotor van de 911 T en was vanaf 1970 onderworpen aan internationale homologatie in de categorie Grand Touring Special. Twaalf auto's werden door de fabriek gebouwd op basis van de 914/6, allemaal uitgerust met spatbordverbreders en een motor die tussen de 160 en 220 pk ontwikkelde, afhankelijk van of ze bestemd waren voor de rallysport of het circuit.

Het model dat we presenteren, gebaseerd op de 914 uitgerust met zijn originele 4-cilindermotor, neemt deze specificaties over met de verbrede carrosserie van de 914/6 GT, grote "replica" Fuchs-velgen, versterkte ophangingen en koppeling en een vijfversnellingsbak sport versnellingsbak. De eind 2015 volledig herbouwde motor is ook serieus geprepareerd met cilinderkoppen met grote kleppen, wedstrijdnokkenassen, twee Weber 48 carburateurs waarmee de viercilindermotor zo'n 170 pk kan leveren.

A true sports car, the Porsche 914 was offered with the flat six-cylinder engine of the 911 T and from 1970 it was subject to international homologation in the Grand Touring Special category. Twelve cars were built by the factory on the basis of 914/6, all equipped with fender flares and an engine that developed between 160 and 220 hp depending on whether they were intended for rallying or the circuit.

The model we are presenting, based on the 914 equipped with its original 4-cylinder engine, takes up these specifications with the widened bodywork of the 914/6 GT, large "replica" Fuchs rims, reinforced suspensions and clutch and a five-speed sports gearbox. The engine, completely rebuilt at the end of 2015, has also been seriously prepared with large-valve cylinder heads, competition camshafts, two Weber 48 carburettors which allow the four-cylinder engine to deliver around 170 horsepower.
